Partners In Care Hospice & Home Health Expands Board of Directors
(Bend, Oregon) Partners In Care, Central Oregon’s longest serving independent, not-for-profit hospice and home health organization, has appointed Dr. T. Chris Kelley, a physician specializing in pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine at Bend Memorial Clinic, to the organization’s Board of Directors.
“We are pleased to welcome Dr. Kelley to Partners In Care,” said Partners In Care chief executive officer Eric Alexander. “His addition to our board brings a strong medical background and a deep community connection to the organization’s governance structure and will support the region’s interests in community-based end of life services.”
Dr. Kelley, currently a shareholder at BMC, joined the Clinic in 2010 following employment as a physician with the David Grant Medical Center at the Travis Air Force Base in California and a deployment to Afghanistan where he worked as a physician with the Critical Care Air Transport Team. Kelley joins other members of Partners In Care’s board of directors, including Suzanne Lafky, the Executive Director of Oregon Adaptive Sports; Linda Kay Stelle, President Emeritus of Bend-based AmeriTitle; Stephen Kornfeld, MD, Oncologist; Sandy Garner, CEO, The Garner Group; Vic Russell, Vic Russell Construction; Jerry Andres, Principal of Workhouse-Solutions, LLC; and Eric Alexander, President and CEO of Partners In Care.
Partners In Care serves communities in Bend, Redmond, LaPine, Madras, Sisters, Sunriver, Prineville, Tumalo, Terrebonne, Crooked River Ranch, Fort Rock and Christmas Valley areas. As the region’s first hospice, Partners In Care has provided the highest level of coordinated, compassionate hospice and home health care for over 35 years. PIC also operates Hospice House, the region’s only in-patient hospital fully dedicated to hospice patients.
