Hospice and home health services are provided without regard to race, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, disability (mental or physical), communicable disease, or national origin.
Medicare and Medicaid pay for most Home Health and Hospice services. Most insurance companies cover Home Health and Hospice services as well. We will contact your insurance company and work with you regarding coverage and any co-payments. No patient will ever be refused care because of financial reasons.
The Medicare Hospice Benefit is available under Medicare part A. It is designed to meet the unique needs of those who have a life-limiting illness and who elect to receive comfort measures rather than curative treatment for their hospice diagnosis. It is important to note that Medicare will continue to pay for covered benefits for any health problems that are not related to the hospice diagnosis. Should the beneficiary no longer meet the eligibility requirements for hospice or choose to revoke the hospice benefit, the standard Medicare benefits are restored.
