On his deathbed\, Socrates exhorted his followers to practice dying as the highest form of wisdom. Levine decided to live this way himself for a whole year\, and now he shares with us how such immediacy radically changes our view of the world and forces us to examine our priorities. \nMost of us go to extraordinary lengths to ignore\, laugh off\, or deny the fact that we are going to die\, but preparing for death is one of the most rational and rewarding acts of a lifetime. It is an exercise that gives us the opportunity to deal with unfinished business and enter into a new and vibrant relationship with life. \nLevine provides us with a year-long program of intensely practical strategies and powerful guided meditations to help with this work\, so that whenever the ultimate moment does arrive for each of us\, we will not feel that it has come too soon. \n

SUMMARY:Grief Support Sound Bath
DESCRIPTION:Grief\, a universal emotion\, often leaves us in search of solace and understanding. To offer a sanctuary for those navigating this complex journey\, we’re introducing the “Grief Support Sound Bath.” Leveraging the healing powers of quartz crystal singing bowls\, facilitated by Trisa\, this unique session provides a space to reflect\, release\, and find resonance in the harmonious sounds. Let this ancient practice become a beacon of serenity and support during times of remembrance and healing. RSVP here: https://www.clearmourning.org/event/grief-support-sound-bath/ \nWho Is This For:\nThis workshop is thoughtfully crafted for those grappling with grief\, seeking a therapeutic experience of relaxation and emotional release. Whether you’re familiar with sound baths or new to the practice\, Trisa’s expertise with quartz crystal sound bowls promises a supportive and rejuvenating experience. \nWhat to Expect:\nSound therapy with quartz crystal bowls is a time-honored practice\, grounded in the belief that our emotions\, especially during grief\, can resonate with certain frequencies. As Trisa plays each bowl\, they emit specific frequencies that correspond to various emotional states\, leading to a deeply personal experience for each participant. \nThese sound baths are designed to immerse you in waves of sound and vibration\, aiding in the release of trapped emotions and feelings of loss. For many\, the uplifting energy and clarity linger\, providing solace for days after the session. As you lay enveloped in these harmonious sounds\, you may discover a space of introspection and gentle healing. \nWhat to Bring:\n\nComfortable Attire: Dress in clothes that allow relaxation.\nYoga Mat: To lay down and fully immerse in the experience.\nBlanket & Pillow: For enhanced comfort.\nWater: To stay hydrated before and after the session.\nBolster or Additional Blanket: Useful for added support and relaxation beneath the legs.\n\nNote: Out of respect for the immersive and introspective nature of this workshop\, we kindly request no small children to attend. \nJoin us on this resonant journey as we explore the healing interplay between sound\, body\, and emotions\, offering a supportive space for those navigating the waves of grief. \nWhere:\nLocated: Wyatt Room\, Partners In Care\, 2075 NE Wyatt Ct\, Bend 97701; Parking available at 2611 NE Courtney Drive in Bend.
