Donations to Partners In Care ensure that high quality care is available to all hospice and home health patients and their families, including those in need of financial assistance. Contributions also support community bereavement and volunteer programs, Camp Courage, Hospice House, Transitions, community outreach and education activities, and many more important programs and services.
Gifts may be given in memory of a loved one, or in honor of an individual on the occasion of a birthday, anniversary, or other special day.
Partners In Care is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by the Internal Revenue Service. Tax receipts are provided to donors for all gift amounts.
Gifts can also be made in honor of an individual or in celebration of a special occasion such as a birthday, anniversary, or holiday.
All donors receive a thank you letter that serves as a receipt for tax purposes. The family of the deceased or the person you are honoring with your gift also receives notification; the amount of your gift is not mentioned.
In conjunction with Light Up A Life is the opportunity to receive a keepsake ornament that will remind you of the special people that make a difference in your life. Keepsake ornaments are available for mailing or pick-up beginning mid-November. Suggested donation is $25 for the metal tree-shaped ornament that has a charm with the words Light Up A Life printed on it—or can be ordered with a blank charm where you can inscribe a name or date. In addition to the ornament, donors giving $25 or more have the option of selecting a box of eight greeting cards (with 10 envelopes). Each card features a photo of a Central Oregon scene by local photographer Mike Putnam.
Please call (541) 706-1335 or email LightUpALife@partnersbend.org to inquire about Light Up A Life. You may also order your ornament(s) or greeting cards by mail using this order form. (PDF)
#GivingTuesday is a national day of giving to kick off the giving season. It is the Tuesday after Thanksgiving; this year it is Tuesday, December 3, 2013. In the same way that retail stores take part in Black Friday, the giving community comes together for #GivingTuesday to celebrate and encourage charitable giving activities.
Last year, Partners In Care promoted #GivingTuesday through the news media, using the gift of solar panels from E2Solar as the highlight of the day. KTVZ taped a news segment featuring E2Solar installing the panels on the roof of Hospice House, and broadcast the piece three times that day.
This year, Partners In Care invites Central Oregon businesses to participate in #GivingTuesday by considering a donation of product, services, discounts, or cash to Partners In Care. Cause-marketing ventures will be considered as well. All pledges and gifts by businesses and organizations will be recognized in a print ad published on #GivingTuesday. Website links to your business or organization will appear in the Community Partners page on the Partners In Care website.
Please call (541) 706-1335 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss your participation in #GivingTuesday.
Several funds are available for designation and can be selected on the online giving form or by writing the name of the fund on your check and mailing it to:
